Being a freshmen at a new school can be very intimidating. Attending my first Exploring Your Digital Portfolio class was unlike what I was expecting. I had began the class later than everyone else because I had to revise my schedule. Not knowing what a digital portfolio class would be about was a little nerve racking. From digital footprints to programming a micro bit, I have learned so much. We have been prepared for the day that we go out into the real world and get a real job. Although this class started out intimidating for me, it has turned out to be my favorite class this semester. Every day was a new topic that was intriguing to learn about. We had to read three different books, lol OMG , Untangling the Web , and Light, Bright and Polite . My favorite book to read was lol OMG. I feel that this was very important for people going into college. It taught me how to acknowledge what should and shouldn't be posted on social media. It also provided some questions to think of befor...

Image
Going into a job interview is hard enough, but deciding what to wear can be an even more difficult. There are some things that you should avoid wearing, and there are some that are perfect for the occasion. When walking in, you should not be too flashy . Wearing neutral colors is a good option because it is not too bright. Wearing a blazer over a dress for girls or shirt is a professional approach. When at a formal occasion, you should not show too much skin. Wearing too tight of clothes or plunging neck lines is not the way to go when trying to get your dream job.
