Going into a job interview is hard enough, but deciding what to wear can be an even more difficult. There are some things that you should avoid wearing, and there are some that are perfect for the occasion. When walking in, you should not be too flashy . Wearing neutral colors is a good option because it is not too bright. Wearing a blazer over a dress for girls or shirt is a professional approach. When at a formal occasion, you should not show too much skin. Wearing too tight of clothes or plunging neck lines is not the way to go when trying to get your dream job. On the contrary, you should not come in with too loose or baggy clothes because this can portray you as a messy or sloppy person. It may seem strange, but avoid wearing a strong cologne or perfume. What you post on social media should represent yourself when they meet you in person. Consider what you post from an outsiders perspective. What you post can be taken another way. Most likely in college, you will be asked to write an APA paper . For those who have never written an APA paper there are some things you should know in advance. Before you begin writing, you should have a general idea of what your paper will be about and how it should be organized. If you need resources, select them before writing. This can be beneficial so that you know where to incorporate them into your essay. If you choose to use Microsoft Word, you can select the APA template, rather than a blank one. Your title page will have a running head in the top left corner on the paper. Centered on the page will be your name, title of paper, and university. Below that will be the author's note. Below author's note, you will write "this paper was prepared for..., name of course, taught by..." On to the next page, you will write your abstract.
